ADD: Driver's license check before booking
If “Driver’s license check at booking” is activated in booking options AND Driver’s license check module is active, then:
If the driver has never verified their driver's license, or the verification has expired, an error message + link to the driver's license check will appear when searching for a booking:
If, for example, a “D” driving license is added as a required type of driving license on the vehicle, this type of driving license must be present during the inspection, otherwise the vehicle will not be displayed in the search:
If the person does NOT have driver's license check activated, then the person is allowed to create bookings.
ADD QR code for mobile driver's license verification
If “Driver’s license test only on mobile” is activated in the account, the user receives a QR code for the mobile test when opening the test on the PC, so they do not have to send a link to their smartphone and enter the login data again:
ADD Manual check of driver's license after incorrect online verification
Previously, after a failed online verification, it was not possible to verify the ID by entering all the data (category type, validity period). Now, this is possible just like during an on-site verification:
ADD Flinkey function without APP
This feature requires activation. Please contact Sales for more information.
After appropriate configuration of the Logbook-20 telematics device, the user can send commands to open/close the vehicle to the Flinkey device via the software:
As an alternative, the Flinkey app can still be used.
CHANGE Change in the maps
Bing Maps becomes Azure Maps: Microsoft discontinued Bing Maps mid-year and is now offering map services in a similar format under the name "Azure Maps."
Customers who previously had Bing Maps enabled can now use Azure Maps with the new version. The new version will be available until further notice, according to Microsoft's licensing terms.
Google Streets View: For customers who also use Google Maps, here is a link to a short video (10 seconds) on how to activate the Google Street View in the software:
CHANGE Creation date and archiving of the vehicle in the vehicle header
For a better overview, the information on the creation date and the archiving date (if specified) of the vehicle are displayed under the heading:
ADD KM/Operating Hours Update for vehicles without telematics
For vehicles without telematics, it is now possible to enter the mileage and operating hours of multiple/all vehicles via Excel upload. To do so, you must use "Import":
ADD New report “Asset Detail Report”
A report has been created to provide an overview of the vehicle's master data. The report can be sent via email:
CHANGE From "Options" to "System Masterdata" and "Administration"
The Options module has been renamed and split into "System Masterdata" and "Administration." This has no impact on access rights or functions, but the change serves to improve clarity:
