First steps
Listed below are the most important settings for new customers.
Login to GPS Fleet Software (Change password)
Your provider sends you your login credentials to the software. On first login you are asked to change your password.
- Choose GPS Fleet Software NG in the dropdown menu!
- Choose your language in the top right corner.
- Type in username and password.

Rename devices and group them
You can rename your devices or folders under Vehicles/Trucks → Live Data or Vehicles Tree.
Change name, numberplate or report groups (used for grouping in reports, emails).
Important setting for vehicle
- Under the configuration tab "Input & Output" you should set digital input 1 to ignition. This makes the logbook based on the ignition signal (Trip start is ignition ON, end of trip is ignition OFF). If no ignition is set on digital input 1, the logbook will be based on movement (more short stops and inaccuracies are possible).
- Under the same configuration tab you should also set the private mode switch on the digital input to which it is connected.
Live Data: Check vehicle position and GPS tracks
Especially after first installation it is important to check whether the GPS position and tracks are correct.
Create geofences
Click the polygon symbol on the map and draw a geofence.
After finishing drawing, name the geofence and click save.
Logbook module
The logbook module allows you to check trips and change the mileage of vehicles.
Edit a logbook trip to change the mileage.
Reports
Reports can be created under Reporting → List. Choose the desired report type, vehicle (asset), timespan and click generate report. The report can be downloaded as PDF, XLS, CSV or RTF.
Email reports
Used to automatically send reports per email.
Create new user
Create a new operator for persons that need access to the software.
